View Full Version : Operation Flash Point..suggestions?

I have noticed over time that there seems to be a few OFP players on MP.net...I have been considering trying to play it again (I have finally come to the conclusion that OFP is better thatn BF2 in many retrospects), but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any good rescource sites and mods.
Just for starters, I downloaded CSLA 2, as that looks like a well-worked mod that adds many more peices of military equipment to play with...
so far the best rescource site I could find is OFP.info.
Any suggestions would be welcome! I'm lookin forward to havin some fun in ol' OFP...
oh, and any recommendations for multiplayer?

Well. I play it. But mostly MP games like Minibattlefields and CTI's

The bi forums (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi) is a good place to start.

Be sure to get DXDLL (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=4;t=40962) and the DMA animations

I can't wait for Armed Assault!

A good site to visit about OFP news news and addons is www.ofp.info (http://www.ofp.info), OFP info is probably the best website out there at the moment and has all the good addons and mods. Also its worth a look to check out the BIS fourms too.

Good Mods would inculde: FFUR 2006, FFUR Euro, CLSA and the FDF mod. ECP is pretty sweet though its more of a effects pack than a mod.

A little bit to late dont you think? At the 30.11. ArmA will be released in Europe. The day´s from good old OFP are counted. Dont get me wrong. I will never ban OFP from my HD but the future is called ArmA.
