I don't think the design was entirely thought out very well.

Just wondering how does that roadblock system works. Is it only available in Britain?

Like all totalitarian, money-grabbing schemes, yes.

Yeah quite right, lol.
I also heard that the concentration of speed cameras is the highest in the world? If not the entire europe.

rofl That second vehicle wasnt even close. Funny how the driver hit his head pretty hard...you can see his airbag deploy and the lady who was in the passenger, grabs the baby and runs away.

It's a bus lane. Only buses are allowed down that road. There's one near me, I think the buses must have some kind of gizmo that interacts with circuitry under the road, which then lowers the posts. It's not a toll thing.

I was thinking it's probably some sort of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth chip in the vehicle.. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

We have the exact same thing for a bus lane here in town. Funny thing is that it broke down for one week and everyone was able to drive over it, next week when it was repaired, nobody knew. Imagine how many cars were wrecked

Had one where I used to live, they disabled it after cars kept writing themselves and the rather expensive bollard off. In the end they got rid of it entirely when one of the chips in the buses malfunctioned and it knackered a bus as well (lifted when it was half way through)
