off topic however... can anyone tell me why the serials are in arabic (ie english) numbers instead of chinese(kanji?) characters. doesn't this require them to give their pilots a seperate course in (for lack of a better descriptor... forgive my prejudices) "western" numeracy so that the pilots can tell where they parked?

They do it, so american spy plane pilots can remember and id the plane that is going ruin their day.

As far as I know they use Arab numbers with Chinese letters. The presumption that Arab numbers are 'English' is rather idiotic...

:bash: I have the impression pictures Nr 4 / 9/ 10 are Photoshoped...

To me close-up on cockpits might have been taken on the ground. There is no light reflection and the way the crew do not look at the chase/photo aircraft (at that distance, they must do!) is just weird.
