View Full Version : SF from 'Profiles'
Was going through some of the SF photos from Afghanistan, and I think the guy in the middle is Randy from the 19th Special Forces group in Afghanistan, based out of Khost. He was featured on Profiles from the Front Line on ABC. The original caption on the photo says most of the same stuff, this being from Op Mountain Sweep, which also was out of Khost.

The Randy Hood is talking about looks more like the mustached gentleman in the middle. I'll get out my tape of Profiles and see if I can sort it out. G

I think he was wearing a ballcap and dark shades in Profiles but it does look like him.

Us there some way to purchase all the episodes from Profiles? Did they ever have an episode with the SEALs in it?
Even though i've sent emails to ABC quite a few times, i've never gotten a response from them. It'll probably be a long time, or never, before we can find out something about the series again. Ultimately i think it'll get picked up by TLC or the Discovery channel at some point for a cut rate price.

I live 4 miles away from 19th SF's headquarter in Utah :D I know quite a few guys from 19th SF. I'm thinking about joining 19th SF(NG) but **** it. My wife probably file for a divorce if do so.

There's a Marine Corp reserve AND Army 19th Special Forces(NG) in Camp Williams, Utah. The Marine reserve just got back from Iraq, one of them lost his life. He was a Salt Lake City's detective. They gave him a HUGE funeral too. Anyway, I believe they are Marine's amphibious assault infantry. They use the great Salt Lake for all their amphibious training.
