One of the bodies lay sprawled on the pavement, his face bloody and his right leg drenched in blood. The other had been rolled onto his stomach, his shirt pulled up to show a bullet wound in his back.

Both appeared to be Westerners and wore dark t-shirts and khaki pants commonly worn by private security contractors.

Either way, i think that the Use of PMC's might be called into question when all this is done. Sure they have great training, but they lack the firepower and support that the US Military would have. They usually drive around in SUV's, stuff like Excursions and Nissan Extera's, with no armor on the vehicle and only small arms.

They are becomming in Easy target to the terrorists trying to keep IRaq from being rebuilt.

Ther germans were killed because they were foreigners. Doesn't matter to the killers if they were to protect the embassy of an anti-war country or if they were coalition contractors or whatever.

True , but I disagree with your solution. Naybe the problem are not the PMC itself but the way they are used. Reading these topic on this forum , I get the impression that small numbers of contractors are often in isolated areas , and without any help from anyone. Maybe the Pmc's should be more concentrated and not so dispersed. But that is hard when there are not enough troops to keep all Iraq under control.

Anyway what keeps PMC from getting Tanks? Excuse my stupid question
