Just destroying the barrel that way.
Hopefully that was just those rounds we saw and not something that happens all the time.
The accuracy of the barrel is destroyd, its a free floating barrel and therefore verry fragile.

I dont think its that fragile, otherwise they probably wouldnt use the semi automatic version. Offcourse its not wise to do this every day...

Whether or not the barrel is freefloated has nothing to do with its durability.

I was thinking more about the accuracy, when you can shoot up to 1200-1800 meters. The durability may be good but the accuracy will be worse.
Maybe i am wrong but when i was a shooter at it that was what they tought us.

He shot a rifle. They are intended for shooting. Sure precision degrades as a barrel is used, but you have to shot thousands upon thousands of rounds before anything noticeable. (maybe a 1/4" shift MOA).
Free-floating barrel being very fragile? Do some research as to what this term actually means. If I free-float a rifle's barrel, it does not instantly reduce its physical characteristics. It enhances the weapons precision. That is pretty much it.

free floating doesnt affect barrel strength. it just keeps the barrel from touching anything, if a barrel gets hot and touches the stock the accuracy can go to ****. shooting the rifle that fast also wont hurt **** he only shot a single mag. there made for shooting and thats what hes doing, how shooting a single mag out of a gun can destroy it and ruin accuracy is your little secret i guess.
