Do you even know at what range it was that you allow yourself to give such commentary?
Not to mention that hitting a moving target isn't the easiest task in the world (with the press running around it to top it off!)...

It was quite amusing how they left their buddy behind, im curious what is he trying to signal? is he signaling to the camera man to keep shooting, and to the crowd to stay back out of the camera view?

But a 7.62 might have killed them outright. :p
I don't think he got two hits. It looks like the one shot later on just scares the crap out of the guy carrying the wounded man, and he drops the wounded man on the ground and runs like a wussy.
I wonder if it would have been better if they would have opened up on them.

I feel like the whole thing was a bit unecessary. Clearly these men were being watched, if they posed a huge threat, many more shots would've been fired and as soon as they picked up those rifles. The second man shot was just silly, they were already down the street, what good is shooting one more going to do? Aside from the human aspect that was pretty damn good shooting.

No , I don't think it was Pallywood .
Usually the guy with a gun instantly becomes a target . I am surprised the sniper wasn't zeroed on those guns , and as soon as those ****ers tried to pick them up , they should have got a new eye .
More over , Euro media just need to show only part of this clip (the part were the guy was shot ) , and not all clip . They don't have to stage all this accident . I have very bad memories from European media in Nablus (and some people don't understand here why I hold a grudge against Europeans) , they are excellent to show stuff out of context , and then lie about it.

They shot down the armed guy? Fair enough! But then how pathetic, the IDF shoots against two guys retrieving fallen weapons and people surrounding them. What they achieve? They hit the youngest of them (that by the way is not carrying a weapon) and another one also unarmed. Still, with this guy lying on the ground a BRAVE unarmed man runs towards him and picks him up. Under fire. Under fire from troops shooting to kill.
That, whatever his nationality, whatever his creed, is a BRAVE MAN.

Silly kids...no
People making themselves targets by acting recklessly, yes.
The guns where a matter for authorities, not people that want to be immortalized on tv. Both shots where legshots which might lead you to belive that there was no need for a massacre....but the Israelis would be pretty stupid to let people run for guns that mere minutes before where used against them.
The IDF acted in a just manner it would seem in this video. Why allow a gang of unknowns make-off with weapons that could be used against you?
Regardless of the motivation behind retrieving the AKs, those guys should know that if you're going to try and pull something like that in a warzone, there's gonna be consequences. They'd just better be thankful that the IDF sniper had the restraint/mandate to aim low.

The only one who seems to be crying here is you mate.
It didn't seem clear to you that this whole group of people were partners in this attempt to get the weapons?
All they had to do in order to avoid the risk of getting shot was to simply clear the area, let alone not take part in the whole thing... not so hard to comprehend.
So it doesn't matter if they were or were not carrying weapons, the soldier shouldn't feel bad at all.

Let's see if you can understand this.
These gunmen usually aren't alone (at least in pairs). Which means that there are probably other gunmen in the area, so the IDF isn't gonna call it a day and go home. Also these people who tried to retrieve the weapons obviously know the IDF position, and can fire at them with these weapons as soon as they get off the street. Being a kid doesn't mean you cant be a terrorist. Do you know how many 17 y/o suicide bombers there were in the last few years?

Yeah you're right, I guess those guys were minding their own business and running the Annual Gaza Marathon (probably thought the shots were the opening start or something :) ).
I'm going to be obnoxious and restate what I basically said on the last page:
Those guys know exactly what they're getting into. It's a warzone, and if you're going to try a stunt like that, they should expect consequences. Regardless of their reason for recouping the AKs, they knew it was a high-risk scenario. They're lucky to get away at all, in my opinion.

Moledet, I'm not sure if ur a combatant or not, but if the seizure of some weapons could possibly save someone's life, surely you'd have a dip at 'em. Anyway is the IDF so screwed that they're countin slugs, if so makes some of the recent reports of equipment shortages seem real. I suppose the IDF is unaccustomed to fire & manouver techniques too??

The guy who you see in the first place in the video is sneaking towards the weapons from the bushes. But the same guy runs off like a idiot without a brain when they start shooting. I can understand you want and need to get the F out of that situation. I think his brain was on automatic get the F out mode. Cuz before he was clever enough to use some cover to get there.
But besides that the sniper should have shot the guy right where the guns where. Or a warning shot just in front on the road. Or they should have used a guided missile actually. But hey that wouldnt be good to show on the media.

How about next time you include the total number of weapons captured by the IDF in this operation as a whole, same goes for Palestinian militant fatalities.

Exactly, you get a very limited view at a situation you know almost nothing about.
you don't know what took place there that wounded the gunman, you don't know what is the size of the IDF force there, is a company? a squad? one sniper? what is the distance between them to the road? are there IDF forces up ahead on the road? what happend after the video stoped? why wasn't the wounded gunman arrested in the first place and was allowed to be taken to the ambulace?
is the video from the Gaza strip and is part of the large operation taking place there or did it happen during a limited operation in the west bank?
what was the original mission of the troops operating in that area?

Also while some are running away make notice how others are sitll running forward (probalby to pick up the cell phone, lol), some are just standing on the road watching, after the third one gets shot and lies on the ground gesturing with his hand take a look at someone casually storll by him like on a morning run.

It's not a new trick, in the days of the British mandate they used to do the same trick. Whenever the Brits cornered a group of gang members the whole village used to come out of their homes in order to confuse the British soldiers.
