Take a look at some of the blackhawk products. I personally have a 3 day assault pack from them and it has seen a lot of abuse/travel.
Good product with good waranty.....if you need it.
Not sure how easy it is to get in the UK though.

.............. just thought I'd point out that Karrimor SF (also known as PRI:- http://www.pri.uk.com (http://www.pri.uk.com)) only supply direct to members of the forces or police.
If you are looking to buy then try AWE Outdoors (http://www.awe-outdoors.co.uk/Products.aspx?CategoryID=7&Category=Rucksacks%20and%20Bergens). They tend to have most of the Sabre range on some sort of sale.
www.sofmilitary.co.uk (http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk) also have the Sabre range (under Karrimor).

As favoured by british 9infantry) troops:
http://www.berghaus.com/index.asp?bhcd2=1162472745
But I guess more because its lightweight and easy to carry in combo with assault vest or webbing (where it leans on) than on its on.. However I dont have experience with this ruck myself.

Not a problem then.
P.S: Noticing these bags cost around 60 - 70 quid, is that dear? Or is that the price range I'm looking at?

Very much a case of you get what you pay for. What do you intend to use it for?
The Karrimor sabre range are very well made hence the price. The Berghaus Munro as Ryan said is also very good day sack but only available in green.
As you are looking for a black daysack I take it you aren't going to use it for military purposes? In which case you could go for something cheaper that will do the job.

Using it mostly for civvie purpose, but certainly will be used for military use to transport kit (Non tactical of course)

Ok. In that case go for the Karrimor "Hot" range. They are basically the civi version of the "Sabre" range i.e. the Karrimor Hot Rock 30 is basically a Sabre 30 just made out of non mil-spec materials (not quite as hard wearing), comes in brighter colours (as well as black!) and its cheaper ..... £36 quid in Aktive8 (http://www.aktive8.com/p/Karrimor/Cross-Functional-Climbing-Rucksacks/Hot-Rock-30-Rucksack/1SS06_SS06.html).
There is also a Hot Earth 40 which is the equivalent of the Sabre 45. Both have a life time guarantee so if the stitching goes etc you can get it repaired.

Dude! Don't diss the Daysack, SAS, Covert. It's commonly known as the best daysack money can't buy
These guy's are great , my Delta 25 is VERY rugged and takes hard work with ease whilst being comfy, had 25kg in it the other day which is alot for a 25 litre sack and it didn't even cringe ! And in BLACK.

Leave Arktis patrol pack alone as they're gash , above is the dogs trust me .

Yep the Delta 25 is very good. Only thing I'm a little worried about is that it has a zip opening top. If the zip goes then the sack is permanently open unlike a "normal" flip top sack where the lid covers the entrance even if the clips break (or you can tie it down).

Daysack, Telic, Fell apart before issue.
I love mine. not that I've ever used it.. ever. but atleast it makes up for some of the things I won't get issued. not
