In my church, we had a speaker named Dr. Deyoung who has lived in Israel and broadcasted Bible prophecy over an Israeli station... He said something about Iraq's Jerusalem Army.. Apparently, Saddam was gathering hundreds of thousands of fighters and suicide bombers to attack Israel and "liberate" the palestinians. Obviously since you Israeli members live in Israel, I would like to know if you have heard of this before along with other thoughts.

yeah i know about it . saddam was really becoming a threat thats why we bombed his nuclear reactor before he could get ahold of nuclear arms.

That's true. I first read about Saddam's Jerusalem Army on the Israel Defense Forces website a bit over a year ago, though I can't seem to find the link now. But it wasn't recent--he'd had it for a while, and probably was never going to actually use it. I think he'd been parading his "magnificent Jerusalem Army" through Baghdad for a couple years. I think it was more a pep-rally sort of thing than anything he was intending on using.

If i am not mistaken , i think when the GW2 ended , and Sadam was still free , there was some messages from Saddam (on one of his audio tapes ) , that he is gathering volunteers to Al-Quds (Jerusalem) battalion to help fight Palestinian brothers , and free Al-Quds or something of this sort .
