hey all. I just went to a presentation at my college from a colonel in the IDF. He serves as attache between the US and IDF and works mainly on military technology. ANyways we had some protestors show up who held a "stop high tech war crimes" banner the whole time. The Colonel was very courteous in letting them stand the whole time and even let them ask questions. Then the colonel showed UAv footage of Hezbollah rockets firing and then IDF engagement. It was amazing to see the IDF allow 8 rockets to be fired and then respond, but its all in the name of Rules of engagement. After the rockets were taken out the crowd applauded and the look on the protesters faces was priceless. So much about senseless and unjustified killing.,..

Nice, sometimes I think what would happen if the amount of media coverage and journalists that goes for the Arab/Israeli conflict, were devoted to the south Bronx...

The Anti-Israel and Pro-Zionist groups are not necessarily in tune with reality nor are they from the region itself. Being at SF State, both of these groups just shouted at each other. While Israeli and Palestinian students were sharing lattes going exam questions.
We had the Israeli Consul General for a lecture with a reception afterwards. The reception catered by a Palestinian student who owned the campus pub. The consul met with both Palestinian and Israeli students and spoke candidly about the situation back home.
It was very productive.

When I was in Grad School (Pittsburgh) the Palestinians used to complain that the only people who would speak to them were the Israeli students.
