ABU GHARIB, IRAQ: Smoke billowing from a US military burning convoy covers 09 April 2004 the town of Abu Gharib during clashes between US troops and insurgents. One year after the fall of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, US and coalition forces are now battling insurgence forces, militias, petty crime, kidnappings, smuggling and general lawlessness, while the Iraqi people still live lack of water, electricity and other amenities and worry about their day-to-day safety and the high unemployment.

Is that a Polish Beryl? ...................................................^Of course not! Beryl has completly different butt (see below).

In my opinion this is 7,62mm Belgian FN FAL battle rifle, He219, but I cannot say which model exactly 50-63 or 50-64 ;) (very similar butt has also Galil and very early models of FN CAL/FNC).
