This competition looks like good training for developing proficiency with the pistol. Anyone here compete? If so, are you on the shooting team of your service branch or law enforcement agency?

I do compete in IPSC in Italy, I'm currently the area champion, I'll try to qualify for the nationals.
I compete in PRODUCTION division with a Glock 17 stock, no modifications of any sort.
I also train in three-gun competition with a glock 17, a benelli M4 and an olympic arms AR15.
I also own an AK-47, a sig 551 commando and an H&K MK23 (civilian version,of course).

I've been shooting and hunting all my life. I can't do it now because my lady hates gun. She threatened to file a divorce if I ever own one. :bash:

I shoot the California 3-gun Champoinship. I don't shoot it competatively (hover in the bottom third), generally keeps my shooting skills up there as well keeping with the safety mentallity and gives me a reaon to go back to California and hang out with some great people.

She has your balls in a jar. Dude, You gotta be the man of the house.
If you have been hunting and shooting all of your life, then it is likely that you come from the country and where everyone hunts and shoots. Best thing is to move out into the country. Then she will gradually come around.

I grew up in a small town in Utah and there are a lot of games out here. Plus, Utah gun law is very lax unlike that liberal state California.

Move to Utah,
