There's plenty of places you can find out how to build an atomic bomb.

The execution is the difficult part.

But it's regarded a good idea not to provide more sources, the same way folks don't give alcaholics directions to a bar.

Idiot.

You think not knowing why our gov't made a dumb decision is a good idea? You realize that part of what makes democracy work is an informed electorate, don't you?

I was under the impression that the process of building a nuclear bomb was fairly common knowledge. Feinstein wasn't calling for a congressional committee when Tom Clancy wrote 'The Sum of All Fears'.

This is nothing but pre-election maneuvering on Feinstein's part. Anyone who's familiar with her handling of firearm/2nd amendment issues shouldn't be at all surprised that she's the one poking her head up here.

I spent 4 years with her as my elected representative, that was enough for me.

Its not that hard NK if my memory is correc has no acces to uranium ore. Relativly small quantites can be found in many places across the globe. Main problem is not in geting uranium but in enrichment process.

I heard you can find that stuff from the wilderness in Sweden, just ask a bear for guidance. :)

I'm more inclined to believe the site contained more harmful information relating to Bush's justification for invading than bomb-making tips from Saddam's by-then-extinct programs.

Idiot.

I'm sure there are plenty of places that tell people how to obtain kiddie ****, mix lethal toxins into food to murder people, yadda yadda .... doesn't mean the government should house the information on public servers.

You must be getting Clintoon confused with Rummy's Nork Nukes or Reagan's Iran-gate, I'm sure some one else can give you a better timeline of the 1990s but here's what went down : Clinton Banned contracts for Iranian Oil development, Clinton wanted an 'Embargo Effect' on Tehran, Clinton blocked sales of weapons to Iran, Clinton opposed Iran-Russia Nuclear deals, Bill signed an Executive order banning Iranian trade....and so on

You've quoted James Risen who is about as reliable as a strategypage website or a Tom Clancy novel, Risen also said Wen-Ho was the 'KlausFuchs' of China's nuclear program and accuses the Whitehouse admin of turning A-stan into narco-state to feed the Bush family's heroine habbit ( Do you belive that rubbish aswell ? )

I dunno, Newsweek says the Bush admin asked the NYT not to write about the operation.

I dunno, Newsweek says the Bush admin asked the NYT not to write about the operation. James Risen is the guy you're talking about - he writes whacked out conspiracy theories for the NY Times in order to improve the sales of his 'factual' books. In the very same book where he accuses Clinton of giving Tehran Nukes he also says the Bush family is making big dollars from the illegal drug trade in Afghanistan.

What does that have to do with Newsweek practically confirming that the operation took place?

You're clearly showing your rightwing conservaitve bias to the GOP side by trying to blame everything on Clinton, the BLAME BILL gimmick is getting real old
http://www.democracylost.com/clintondid188.jpg
(Clinton who hasn't been in office for over half a decade)

As for your tin-foil Clinton-Mahmoud conspiracy, Newsweek didn't confirm sh*t, as usual they simply 'parroted' the NY Risen story and pulled it when it was found to be bogus, just like the time Newsweek parroted Afghan street gossip when they went with the story that American's were flushing the Quran down the toilet.

Trying to get this thread back on topic...
..rather than discussing some insane Clinton-Ahmadinejad conspiracy

But they had Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton! You can build anything with those two giving you the parts!
