Czechs hijacked in Baghdad

According the CTK agency three Czechs have been allegedly hijacked in Baghdad on Monday afternoon. Well-known TV reporter Michal Kubal and his cameraman Klima from Czech TV Chanel One and another unknown man were on their road from North Iraq back to iraqi Capital. Taxi driver came to local cops and reported this incident. Directoriat of CTV 1 confirmed that they don´t have a contact with them since Monday morning.

Three CZ journalists have been released on Saturday evening in Fajullah after spending 6 days in the hands of local rebels. According to the first report there were betrayed by the taxi driver who drove them straight to the hands of terrorists. Czech Ministry of foreign affairs announced they were released due to the diplomatic effort and no military action didn´t take the place.
