I know in Serbia Red Berets were a type of Special force.Sorry that does not answer your ?

This is not a red colour. It's a colour (crimson) that every other country uses for it's airborne guys.

unless things have changed since i was in it was CF wide.
and it is Maroon, not Crimson you are thing about with the Airborne guys.

In Borden I saw an Air Force MP with a blue beret. On my DW course I had a bunch of MPs. One of them was a Navy MP with a black beret.

To be honest, I always thought that Maroon=Crimson, it’s just a different name. I guess I am colour blinded. :)

Nice pics Roman.......everytime I see those helmets they remind me of Atom Ant !!!! but I guess is not about looks but protection. I like the new Helmets Russians are starting to adopt, lets see how long it takes for them to get all their units.

I think the word you are looking for is "hot" not cute. I think she trademarked, or at least tried to trademark, the phrase "that's hot".

I thougt that in Russia Airborne = blue berets
