First it was one dead ANA..
Another 3 got wounded, one of them lost both his legs.
While medics were treating him, he got killed by enemy fire.

So that makes 2 ANA kia.
Not one Dutch or American was wounded.

The Dutch haven't had a single KIA in A-stan yet BTW,so they are doing a great job.
In the documentairy, you hear that a Dutch soldier has lost a leg during an RPG attack, surprised that wasn't in the news here..

yeah off the top of my head i can only think of 2 or 3 videos where you can actually see insurgents, theres one with a bradley that engages 2 rpg gunmen with COAX theres the marines ambush insurgents video, and theres the stryker one where you can see them running through the streets.

How do we differentiate between propaganda and any other war footage? How are insurgent videos any different than a clip of a laser-guided bomb being dropped? If it came from the plane dropping the bomb, it obviously comes from the military and thus must be propaganda. What about those amateur videos filmed by US Marines in Falluja with them whooping and hollaring like kids when a bomb is dropped? Not propaganda?

It seems like under these rules, if applied fairly to both sides in a conflict, would exclude ALL footage except by independent journalists. This is obviously not the case in this forum.

I know what you mean, I thought the same when I started coming here.

But now after a bit of time I think you have to realise that this site is populated by many members of the armed forces around the world. The purpose here is not freedom of speech or balanced information but a place for persons with an interest in issues related to the military to show and discuss information.

This means that while the videos made by coalition and NATO forces provide an insight to the conflicts we are taking part in, the insurgent videos only show the graphic side we all know too well as it is.

How many insurgent groups in there? who make the final explosion? i dont think rpg can do that, unless there are explosives hit by a rpg inside the camp. i think there are fine, bcoz if not, these insurgents will not cut the video until they overun the camp, or post them on the net, showing dead Iraqi/american soldiers...

I'm not really going to judge as I've never been in combat but I'd say they found the general direction of the enemy and fired on it. You can clearly hear some AK bursts in there(not sure when) and that one mortar so the enemy WAS there. Non of us were there so we can't really judge.. I shouldn't have even put up that post with the suppressing fire.
