BTW, I have a question.

When you put the weapon together, do you have to readjust (zeroing) the sights again ?

Some do, some do not.

depends on the gun. that particular rifle (hs precision vtd) doesn't need to be zero-ed. but you pay through the nose for the engineering. most other take down rifle actually have the break in the stock, case in point the awc bdr (here) (http://www.awcsystech.com/m91bdr.html).

The more parts they r dis-assamble,they more accuracy ruin it will be...and it also depends on the range u will be using.For instance if your rifle r zero for 600m above,then the way that the above to store the rifle...u will have to re-zero again.But it doesn't meant u can't shoot it for a 100m target.

Is there a way to make it look not as suspicious to have a big case ?
I don't know about you, but when I see a big, long case I think that there is a rifle in it.
Can you fit a rifle into a "slightly" bigger then normal case but still make it look so it would not attract too much attention ?

I know its stupid (I'm no expert) but something like in the "Hitman (http://media.playstadium.dk/cpg133/albums/screenshots/HitmanBloodmoney/15.jpg)" game ?
