Woh! Was that absolutely necessary? Couldn't the troops just scale the walls instead of breaking in? Either way, nice job!

Yes it was...in urban ops or f.i.b.u.a. or m.o.u.t. or whatever the name of the week is, one thing you have to maintain is momentum. The breacher was trying to shoot a lock with his 12gauge and as seen in the video, it did not work. If you want to keep collateral dammage to a minimum, a satchel charge probably isn't the best tool so the decision to ram the door to gain acces was a sound one providing the vehicle had adequate cover once inside the compound and hopefully it didn't block the entry point.

I'd imagine hoping over a wall would leave you exposed for a pretty good while. You're sillouhueted, moving away from cover, and then have to land and get your weapon ready.
Not that I've ever done anything like that, just my thoughts.

Alright, as long as the troops stay safe, it's all good. Anyhow, doors can be fixed.

Yea, they could have just left a note and come back later. :bash:

They breached that the right way. What would you rather do. Scale a wall and be exposed to whatever is on the otherside? Or would you rather breah from the front of the structure so you can cover the area evenly? In that situation the way they breached was right Besides afterword they will get instructions of where to go to get compensation. A busted door to save soldiers lives a more than fair trade.

Vi would rather have the U.S government pay the owner for a new door, then have one of my guys on the other side alone for more then a second.

Yes, I realized that after other people on the board said so. Blow down the door, doors can be fixed.
