I like the LaRue but I think I'm going to go with a Troy free-float handguard you don't have to remove the front sight base and barrel nut to install a Troy handguard

What a beauty Mike......can never go wrong with a Colt !!!
The Troy handguard(free float) is nice but having owned both, Im gonna have to side with Highspeed on the LaRue, I think that they make the best free floats in the market !
Are you doing anything else to it ? Tango Down grips or VlTor stock ???

I really like the LaRue but I just don't want to have to remove the front sight base and barrel nut and yes I'm planning on doing some other stuff. I already have a green Vltor stock, I'm just waiting on the rest of my green funiture to get here( Ergo grip,quad rail,rail covers,Tango Down vertical grip,Etc).I was going to dress it out in green but now I'm thinking I might go with Dark Earth.I'm also not sure if I'm going to go with a EoTech ( I took that one off my Carbon 15 pistol) if i do go with a EoTech I'll get a 553 but I think i'm going to put a Acog on it.

Sweet man....I also went Dark Earth tones on my latest.....and I put and EoTech 511 fro now while I can get my hands on a dark earth 553 (everybody seems to be out right now !!! ) .

Sweet build, looks great How do you like the Vltor upper? I was thinking of getting a Vltor Vis for my next build is that a noveski barrel if so how do you like it?

Thanks....Im really like the Vis upper and the Noveske barrels are some of the best ...so cant really complain man.....

Cool My next build is going to be similar. what's the barrel length of yours and what kind of accuracy do you get?what kind of ammo does it like?

The barrels is '10.5.......and is pretty accurate I must say for its lenght ! and this baby likes everything from Fed M193 Ball to Winchister X223R.....only thing I wont put through this baby is Wolf, no steel cased ammo !!! I spend too much on them to do that !

Yupp.....Wolf, Bear and all those animal named ammo are good and cheap, but only for the Aks and SkS's.....

Yes it's a HK mag, it didn't photo well kinda looks sliver but it's black gloss.
Hk mags are great. I will only use them as my front line mags, very reliable and made of steal not aluminum

I really like the Vltor stock rock solid and very comfortable cheek weld.
