I read a very good book a couple of years ago on the The Alamo Scouts they really where ahead of their time the training that they did lwasvery similar to todays Special Forces.

I've got Silent Warriors, another good read on "unknown" SOF units is Darkmoon. It's about US SOF units in the Korean War.
