As I remember it you cannot change the reticle, I had the 6X24 at one point.

i should have asked this first, i received my optic today and still have not figured how to mount it, so did they send me the wrong optic or what ?

Did you read the manual?
About the reticles, I think you can order scopes with different reticles. But for sure not change it yourself.
About the mounting:
1. On the scope mounting mechanism pull down that lever and turn it right.
2. Put the scope on the mounting rail at the Rifle.
3. Turn the lever left again, you will have to pull it down again to lock it the whole way.
finished.

If you have the muzzle facing forwards, the optic slides froward from the back. You then push lever across to lock it in place.
As far as the different reticules, I think they are refencing the fact all those different reticules are all wrapped into one.
Found this for you.
Clamp Adjustments (http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/pso/clamp_adjustments.htm)
Tantal rocks, I purchased my Kobra from these guys.

I think there are various versions of the scopes one can buy - not that one scope comes with different reticles. I bought PO 6x40 S and that model has Dragunov Reticle, I imagine POSP or PSO scopes would have an additional model letter designating the reticle the scope comes with...
I'm only aware of new Cobra's switching the reticle, that's about it...
I like dealing with http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/ - Sergey31 recomended that one and I never looked back...
i think you're stuck. do you have the tr-4 or the ak-47 (7.62x39) reticle?
i believe you can change the cams but not the reticle.

ok thanks guys

isnt 1000m range finder supposed to be a pikes type reticule ?
mine has a vertical and a horizaontal line.
mine has a vertical and a horizaontal line.
sounds like you have a tr-4 reticle. i thought the tube was filled with nitrogen? if so it's off the factory if you want to change to the ak reticle. here are your two options:

I found PSO to be the best of them all, it's compact, bright and has good field of view. It's cross hairs are very thin which I prefer over thicker "Druganov" style.
PSO 2.5x 18 Wide Angle.

POSP 8x42...
It's actually a dovetail mount but they advertise as "weaver", it will not fit any weaver mount I have but only dovetail. I'm surprised they have not change that still.
