BAGRAM, AFGHANISTAN - JUNE 3: U.S. soldiers of the 82nd Airborne prepare to board a Chinook helicopter at the end of Operation Dragon Fury June 3, 2003 in Bagram, Afghanistan. The operation took place in the Showi Kowt Mountains in Eastern Afghanistan, in the same vicinity as Operation Anaconda, and was the largest since that mission was undertaken in March 2002.

U.S. forces mounted a major operation in Afghanistan this week to hunt for suspected al Qaeda and Taliban militants crossing from Pakistan, but arrested just four men on a farm. The two-day operation involving some 500 troops, was the latest in a series of actions concentrating on the east and southeast of the country.

Anyone have any idea what kind of information is on those cards around their necks?

PW tags - date, time, GR of capture etc. Info on who they were captured with and what clothing/equipment was being carried/found at that location. Vital info for interrogators...

Yeah, good movie, but I have no idea where the pointy stick thing came from. I don't remember hearing that.

My favorite part:

-We didn't see any action, except for that dude Troy shot.

-Shot him in the neck, right?

-F***ing badass! I was there, f***ing took him out at 400 yards, his head popped up three feet in the air! Crazy shot!
