NYPOST:
There were three separate shootings in the Bronx Wednesday night, a day after Mayor Michael Bloomberg highlighted the fact that there had been no shots fired in the borough for a week.
All of Wednesday’s incidents took place in the Kingsbridge Heights section, two on Webb Avenue and one on Kingsbridge Road. One man was shot in the neck, and the two other men were both shot in the leg.
They were all taken St. Barnabas Hospital. One was listed in critical condition, the other two were described as stable.
The incidents marked the second straight night of shootings in the borough after Bloomberg announced there had been none between March 29 and late Tuesday. That's the longest stretch without a shooting in the Bronx since the NYPD began keeping statistics in 1994.
Nice 'hood isnt it.
