thx for the interesting vid - I am watching it right now - it starts rather funny - gotta love the random swearing ;)

EDIT: hehe the part where they fly with the helicopter sounds familiar - i was flying in a Mi-8 too and it also was loaded too heavy - the one i was flying in couldnt lift of, so it had to speed up on a runway like a plane before it finally could lift of the ground hehe

Susumu,

You served in the Russian Army?

no i'm living in Germany since im 7 years old so I never had the chance to serve in the russian army - we were flying in them as civilians - my father and my uncle had friends in the military and the soldiers would always help people out by transporting goods and food and they would also give a ride if you knew how to ask (it was really funny how easy you could make things happen when you made presents like vodka and chocolate to the right people) ;)
It was nice of them because Russia is big and some parts were hard to reach without the help of the helicopters or cargoplanes.
Of course as a kid it was a great adventure flying in a military helicopter too - especially when the heli had to land for refueling - there were dozens of helicopters there - that was a really beautiful sight :)

it ain't funny i'd hate to be at the guy's place.
yeah well the things he went through might be not very nice but how he tells them is really funny - especially the part where theyre allways told to **** off because nobody wanted them - when they finally arrived in grozny i couldnt stop laughing when they were again told to **** off ;)
or the attack of the falcon was great ;)

Can someone get a translated version? It is appreciated if you can in english please, if not, no worries.

hm i dont know if somebody ever would translate that ;)

basically most of the vid is about how they ended up in Grozny - first they were sent on a wrong train and were stopped and and almost had a shootout at the Ukrainina border ;) - but then made friends with the Ukrainian guys and were let go. Then they were sent from one town to the next because nobody wanted or needed them - so they finally ended up in Grozny where nobody needed them either.
Then he tells about how he had to learn to work with a computer (he never used one before) and tells a few storys like when a guy got shot in the ass and burned his ass by sitting on a oven and then had to wear a skirt because of the injuries ;) .
Or how a reporter chick from NTV wanted to make a vid about a peaceful city and the first tram driving - she was willing to pay 100 bucks - and of course there was no driving tram - so some soldiers found a broken one without windows and wheels and tied it to a BTR and pulled it for the vid up to some bridge while she was filming - when she didnt want to pay they threw the tram down the bridge ;)

well maybe somebody wants to translate it or tell in more detail - but that vid is really long so i dont really want to

Yeah, his accent was very funny. It's like he's ****ouncing the words the same way they're written.

The main difference is the "O"s all of them are ****ounced as "O"s and accented:)

is the swearing part of the accent? ;)
he's using swearwords like punctuation marks - in evey second sentence йоб тваю мать!

edit:
btw anybody noticed that he's calling the vertolet a vetrolet? блядь ;)

Yeah, this video is quite funny. Anybody count how many times he cussed? It's funny because if you take the cuss words out of his sentences, he won't make sense.

All the respect in the world for this man - he can swear as much as he like (it's more "real" that way) :)

Yeah, LOL. He also referred to the train as 'Parovoz' instead of a 'Poezd'.
