The first two FAV Su-30MK2 AMV's.

They will be stationed at the Barcelona Air Base (eastern Anzoátegui state).The 24 Russian fighters Venezuelan purchased in July 2005 are to reactivate the Fighter Air Group 13.

Cool stuff. Now if Venezuela could only keep its F-16s flying, it would truly posses one of the best airforces in the region.

BTW, how many Mi-35s are set to be purchased? I vaguely remember the number being between 10 and 15, right?

Yes around 10-15 Mi-35M2 Caribe's.With some Mi-17's and Mi-26's aswell.The FAV F-16's are still operable and are flying they might have cannobolised some of them or received spare parts from an unknown country.They operate out of El Libertado airfield.

They are not very expensive to my knowledge.

The Venezuelens have been using one color lately.Even there new uniforms "Patriot" are just plain green.

They are going to Air Group 13.They are trained in Russia if I believe with more training occuring in simulators in Venezuela and classroom.
