Another anti-Russian propaganda article from the BBC

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/6158434.stm

Seriously, what the heck is going on in this region of 70.000 people? Any latest news?

Why I call it "anti-Russian propaganda"

Atsa did not fit the stereotype of the anti-Western, pro-Russian separatist hothead.

He said he was a fan of European dance music, and liked to listen to British DJs on BBC radio.

This pissed me off. Apparenntly, there's some stereotypical look that pro-Russian, anti-Western youths should all follow? I wasn't really aware of that.
What exactly should such youth/"hotheads" listen to? Red Army Orchestra? Goran Bregovic's "Mesecina" and "Kalashnikov" songs?

I say give the what they want and let them chose what they want. What's the point of them being part of Gorgia when they hate that country anyway?

We choose Russia, so let us be Russia.

Why are we part of Georgia anyways? We are not Georgians, the land we live on is not Georgian land. We never attacked Georgians, they attacked us several times.

If we become part of Russia, we will at least have safety and reunification with North Ossetia.

I hear they want to rename Ossetia, "Alania" after re-unification :)

Cool to have a country dedicated to your name. But I suppose it refers to the "Alans" right?

Yep, they are the very reason I was named what I was named.

All the best to Alania.

If other regions in the world are allowed to break away at foreign powers sole discretion I see nothing wrong with Russia taking in South Ossetia.

Finally we agree on something. :)

There's a theory relating King Arthur (legend) to the Sarmatians and the Ossetians could be some of the survivors of that old people.
That's very curious.
