Styled to look like German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, a German neo-Nazi takes part in a demonstration of about 2,000 neo-Nazis in the village of Halbe south of Berlin Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005. Thousands of police were out in Halbe to keep the peace between the roughly 2,000 skinheads who had gathered in the town, 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Berlin, and the estimated 1,600 counter-demonstrators, who included several prominent politicians and personalities.
To solve the riddle: that retard is most likely a member of a fraternity and caught himself a cut while fencing. Guys like him make me want to puke.

Word History: It is one of the ironies of history that Aryan, a word nowadays referring to the blond-haired, blue-eyed physical ideal of Nazi Germany, originally referred to a people who looked vastly different. Its history starts with the ancient Indo-Iranians, Indo-European peoples who inhabited parts of what are now Iran, Afghanistan, and India. Their tribal self-designation was a word reconstructed as *arya- or *http://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/amacr.gifrya-. The first of these is the form found in Iranian, as ultimately in the name of Iran itself (from Middle Persian http://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/c_emacr.gifrhttp://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/amacr.gifn (http://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/scaron.gifahr), “(Land) of the Iranians,” from the genitive plural of http://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/c_emacr.gifr, “Iranian”). The variant *http://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/amacr.gifrya- is found unchanged in Sanskrit, where it referred to the upper crust of ancient Indian society. These words became known to European scholars in the 18th century. The shifting of meaning that eventually led to the present-day sense started in the 1830s, when Friedrich Schlegel, a German scholar who was an important early Indo-Europeanist, came up with a theory that linked the Indo-Iranian words with the German word Ehre, “honor,” and older Germanic names containing the element ario-, such as the Swiss warrior Ariovistus who was written about by Julius Caesar. Schlegel theorized that far from being just a designation of the Indo-Iranians, the word *arya- had in fact been what the Indo-Europeans called themselves, meaning something like “the honorable people.” (This theory has since been called into question.) Thus “Aryan” came to be synonymous with “Indo-European,” and in this sense entered the general scholarly consciousness of the day. Not much later, it was proposed that the original homeland of the Indo-Europeans had been in northern Europe. From this theory, it was but a small leap to think of the Aryans as having had a northern European physiotype. While these theories were playing themselves out, certain anti-Semitic scholars in Germany took to viewing the Jews in Germany as the main non-Aryan people because of their Semitic roots; a distinction thus arose in their minds between Jews and the “true Aryan” Germans, a distinction that later furnished unfortunate fodder for the racial theories of the Nazis.

They are doing thier job. Any gram or kilo of cocaine or heroin is full linked with colombian blood. So the Colombian police are doing the first step to take this down. The drug cartels now are supporting the FARC, a Narcoterrorist organization and even there was supporting the paramilitary groups. This take Colombia to a long intern war.

Those right-wing extremists in Germany are often very close to getting convicted for having done something stupid. I wonder what would happen to this guy if he's put into a prison in Berlin, that is full of Turks and other foreigners, that the Neo-Nazis in Germany hate so much.
I guess his todo list would be like this :):
1) Get a good shave
2) Need a new hair cut
3) Disguise myself as a friend of the Turkish minority in Germany by eating lots of garlic and onions
4) Learn some rap songs
5) Never greet with the raised and stretched out arm (dang habits, that'll be hard)
6) Don't speak while asleep
7) If they find out who I am, I'll bite that potassium cyanide capsule embedded in my tooth.

Oh, for pete's sake, are these people still alive? And they do this every year!? How many of them are left?
Appearantly still too many ;)
Loved the caption on the Tajik President being 'handed another 7-year term' though :D considering the OSCE said that "“The lack of any serious campaign and credible alternatives undermined this election to a degree that it did not provide an adequate test of Tajikistan’s commitments for democratic elections." Makes 'handed' quite funny in that context. Sorry had to share that.

if there was a way, they should just drop mines also ... that way they can't go into the fields to pick and tend to their stock for fear of a mine as well.
Colombia signed a document stating we will not use land mines. All Military personel cannot use land mines and abide by the accord. The only land mine type weapon we have would be the clay mores.

A Northern invasion
November 18,2006
CHRIS MAZZOLINI
daily news staff
The Canadians have invaded Onslow Beach.
But don’t blame Canada — the Marine Corps helped them do it.
While the Marines are experts when it comes to amphibious landings, our friendly neighbors to the north haven’t been serious about beach assaults since D-Day, when the Canadian Forces had their own beach on the shores of Normandy.
The general state of the world, fears of terrorism and a desire to create an international force that can respond to natural disasters have prompted the Canadians to begin experiments into forming a Marine Corps-style amphibious unit.
As a first step, the Canadian Forces participated in a simulated helicopter and beach assault at Camp Lejeune on Friday. It is the culmination of an experimental exercise that began in Nova Scotia on Nov. 2.
While all the helicopters, armored vehicles and equipment used in the landing were Canadian gear, the Canadian Forces don’t have the ships, naval equipment or expertise to pull off such a tactical experiment on their own. So the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps team supplied the USS Gunston Hall, a dock landing ship, and their knowledge of such maneuvers.
For their part, the Canadians are enjoying their leap forward — even if it is a return to elementary tactics and seamanship.
“Today is a pretty exciting day for us,” said Cmdr. Steven Bell, an officer with the Canadian Navy. “This is a different form of naval operation. It’s very basic, but it’s a first step.”
Bell said the Canadians are unsure what will come of the training, but Marine-style force or capability remains a possibility.
The world situation demands it.
Bell said such capability would allow the Canadians not only to have that as a military option, but it can also help them aid in disaster situations like 2004’s tsunami in Asia.
The “assault” began with Canadian Pathfinder being inserted into the area four days early, where they mapped out the terrain and readied a landing zone for the helicopters, which dropped off Canadian soldiers to secure the bridge leading to the beach.
Then 10 Canadian light-armored vehicles on two landing crafts proceeded through the surf toward Onslow Beach, Navy ships floating along the horizon. After landing with the assistance of U.S. Navy Beachmasters, the Canadians proceeded toward the base’s military operations in urban terrain city.
About 300 Canadians participated in the drill. Bell said the younger troops are eager to learn skills that will make them a more capable force.
That’s evident in their willingness to learn, said Lt. Col. Terry Harwood, a Marine with II Marine Expeditionary Force. The U.S. forces have paired each Canadian with their American equivalent in a mentorship program. For example, Bell is shadowing a U.S. Navy commander in order to learn and observe.
“They are very enthusiastic about it, about what makes the Marine Corps the Marine Corps,” Harwood said. “They came to us.”
