I just spoke to Argyll via MSN Messenger for a few minutes. He asked me to tell everyone that he's doing fine and that he said hello.

He said that he had only been in Iraq for about 20 minutes when an RPG whizzed past them, but that thankfully it missed them and everyone else. He didn't have time to say much else, but I wanted to make sure I passed his words along to all of you.

Update: I talked to Argyll again last night, and he said things were a bit crazy but going okay. He said he'd try to get some pictures to me right away. As soon as he does, I'll post any that he gives me permission to post.
I spoke to TP yesterday as well, and he should be on his way by now. I'll keep you updated.

Out of curiosity how long do they keep these people on deployment for? TP said he'll be gone for six months, but it seemed like Argyll's only been gone for two or three? The BSC site says they try to keep it to 60 day deployments. Any real insight into this?
