^I think the Land Warrior system is overratted, thats just what I think, and yea I've read about it and done my own little research about it. And I don't see how it is that great of a combat system, too bulky, heavy, and I don't like the idea of a gun that runs on batteries.

I dont blame you about that gun on batteries thing but they have lightened quite abit 50 pounds to about 20 pounds

The overall weight including the batteries carried on the solder, camera equip., helmet mounted display, etc.
My bad didn't realize that we were agruing with a "captan"

1st unit to deploy with Land Warrior is next OIF rotation, not to far away.
4th Batt/ 9th Reg of the 4th Stryker BCT, 2ID will be the first unit to utilize the system in a combat environment.
