Natural Gas Prices Rising Despite Gluthttp://www.kirotv.com/money/10204275/detail.html

There is no way they can justify raising the price of gas. Oil delivered this month is at its lowest price in a year.

Politics and oil ; 'There's hardly any dispute about the connection but, there's very little to get it under control.' The money has spoken.

Prices are a result of market perceptions, not necessarily realities. Look back at the spike in prices a few months back - do a stare and compare between the supply and the price, and you'll see that those prices were also a result of perceptions, not realities. We had all kinds of media hype, various political leaders saber-rattling to drive up prices etc. Works like a charm.

Crap, I paid $2.09 for 89 grade last night, and 87 was down to $1.98 this morning.
Gas prices are going down in our area.

Follow the money and you'll find the Saudis.
They have a surplus of oil (sweet crude) and are regarded as the price setter in the global market.

They did "W" a favor and lowered the price before the elections. The day after the elections OPEC had its meeting and the prices started to go up.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one.

I noticed that, when I was checking to see how much gas has been going up
in other states. Here, it's gone up .5 - 1. cent per gallon each day since 'the 'Thumpin'.

But it still seems that I am correct - gasis going down in Ohio but other POL
products are going up.

Columbia Gas of Ohio Inc. is raising natural gas prices in December, but still expects customers' bills to be nearly 19 percent lower than a year ago.

Oh bull****. The big oil companies didn't want gas prices to be an issue for either party so they kept prices down.

Hey, were having a lowering of gas prices here....

Guess the heavy machinery in IRAQ is using quite a tad of oil.
1.2 billion, go figure.
