So how do yall think this uprising/revolt will be ended? Its said that iran has a heavy hand in all of this, the sunni's and shiites are joining up, and the kurds are thinking of assulting the militias if they push anymore north. Along with a possible 10000 more US troops being moved into theater, where is this all going?

Nuke the place and rebuild it from scratch. We could even send our jobless people there to repopulate the area.

No idea.
Worst case is US pulling out and leaving Iraq like 90s' Afghan. That would lead tragedy more horror than 911.

A box of fruit loops and a free toy isn't a plan.

I think the coalition can not allow the opposition to survive. They must be destroyed or they will come back later.
In doing this there will be great bloodshed, and the resulting bad PR.

I'm still wondering where all those roses went that Wolfie talked about.

It is a lose-lose situation. It is either Al Sadr and radicalized islamic regime in Iraq or Al Sistani and moderate islamic regime in Iraq. Both options are not desired by Washington. Of course if we exclude the puppet regime currently operating in Iraq but that regime can't hold on for a long time (no legitimacy or trust among Iraqi people).
Bush has to thank Wolfowitz and Perle and the rest of neocon motley crew for getting him and the country into this mess.

I think a military victory is assured. A political victory is another story. We will just have to see what happens. Hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
