Looking at the combined experience of the officers involved, it seems these guys got cocky and had not sufficiently planned and rehearsed.

It's funny. He didn't want to post his details, but his blog has all of his info that you would need. He came back under a different username after the ban (right?), and posted blacked out pictures of the photos in his blog. He was in an Eng Battalion, and possibly ROTC, couldn't tell.

I enlisted 1998. And no, Im not canadian.

Say what you will. I have appologized for the comment in the thread, and it was a reaction to the graphic nature of the event.

I dont hold policae officers to high esteem, probably because I grew up in NYC.

Lets hope he doesnt have to lead men or women into combat, cause i can see this wombat having to write a lot of letters home to mum and dad to explain why he got their kids killed.

I still dont understand how my reactions in that post reflects my performance and leadership in a tactical environment.

BTW, when I never said RECON, its was RSTA Scout PL.....
