Whilst searchings Time online version I have comed across this multimedia flash.

The photos are quite interesting i think.
On photo 17 there is a man who looks like a helicopter crew. but is wield a rifle.
Is this just regular crew or maybe a PJ?

Looks like regular crew. PJs tend to wear BDUs if they need to venture outside the helicopter, that crew member still has a flightsuit on. I also believe PJs work from USAF helicopters. That's a US Army helicopter in the photo.

=> Adobe Photoshop -> Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask :D

or kind of "pro" version ;)

=> Adobe Photoshop -> Image/Mode/Lab Color -> Channel/Lightness -> Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask -> Image/Mode/RGB Color :D
