Sadly one of the four Italian civilian contractors kidnapped and held in hostage by Iraqis had been killed...
From ANSA-ITALY:
"al jaazera announced that one of the four Italian civilian contractor has been killed by the "green brigade" extremist group. A video showed the corpse of the contractor"
"The killing was done because of Italian Prime Minister speak about NOT pulling out Italy from Iraqi conflict".
Guys, that is really sad...maybe this poor Guy R.I.P., I will send a prayer for him and his family.
The four guys were not ex-SF, each and everyone of them were private guards here in Italy ("guardie giurate-Sworn guards",as they are called here", they belonged to IBSA and EPTS private security groups.
I know from direct experience the training involved in those two groups mentioned above, and (please not flame me for this..) it's AWFUL, very amateurish, given the op-theatre in Iraq...they were only four guys trying to support their family in Italy, they all have my utmost reverence and respect for traveling to a very dangerous foreign country in order to collect some cash.
One of the guys had extensive experience as private security for a SHELL oil company in northern Africa.
God bless'em all, hope the other three guys will be released soon :(
