Check this out - members of Ukrainian right wing organisation UNA-UNSO being trained by officers of Estonian Army and Kaitseliit (Defence League) at Kauna talu, near Tallinn (capital of Estonia). Everything is included: demolition tactics, marksmanship, first aid, camouflage.

Well after 2004 Ukraine would be on Estonia's side, so therefore would be no reason to do this.
However, even before they became friends, they weren't exactly enemies (AFAIK), so why would the Estonians do this?
Of course, I don't know much about these seperatists. What were they trying to achieve? What were they trying to seperate? Are they the same ones who went to the Causcaus to fight Russians?

20 division SS was formed in Estonia in 1942, 100% volounteers, after that they were sent to Ukraine to help SS-Waffen in dealing with partisans, jewish and soviet civilians.

Estonia may have been invaded unjustly, without provocation against Russia. However, it was a fascist country (with controversial evidence that they were planning to invite the Nazis in to incorporate them), and did form SS legions during the war that commited as many atrocities as the other SS legions did.
But hey if a black and white world is what you like best, suit yourself...
All Estonians are. But u wanted to talk about WW2, or I just misunderstanded.
Edit: W-SS legions didn't commit no crimes(nothing hasent mentinoed and why whould they do it on their own land?)
Estonian's DIDN't like to fight in german uniform, but that was the only change at the time to fight for country. There wasn't good chanches left, only bad and more worese.

yeah, I was taught by Mart Laar's "history books", and know a lot of things about Estonia. But fortunately for me, there are a lot of other information sources about history of WW2, except of Laar's bullsh*t.

The people in the camp are members of PLAST, an ukraine organisations with neutral political views, basically they are scouts, and some people from Lithuania And they uploaded their photos form the camp, for eachother to view. But some russian political organisation stole those photos, greated a new website (the one in the first post) uploaded them there and made captions for them, also they made up story of Ukraine extremists training in Estonia with "mean nazi estonians", so that they can fight against NATO in Crimea, pretty clever id say.

Funny I'm not Russian, neither Russian related. This is the Historical research I've been through to earn a degree here in Brussels...among others I recommend you Hobsbawm! Ahahah you men were wiped out without difficulty by the Estonian bolsheviks before even the RKKA went to hands with the "western Expeditionnary force" that came to save your buts.

W-SS commited no crimes? Don't be naive, especially as Estonians did fight in Russia proper, not just in their own land.
Fight for the country? You are aware of the German plans for incorporating all 3 of the baltic countries into its own, aren't you? The plan which then calls for using half your population as a "Police Force" on the eastern front, killing anyone who would be opposed to the German occupation of the USSR. Would have made a good police force as well, due to the Estonians and other Baltic peoples great love for Russians at the time p-)
Don't be offended, but this hardly sounds like independence to me. I think that your government realised that the country is going to be overtaken by one power or the other (a situation which I symphathise with and realise that it must suck), so therefore they alligned themselves with the power that they thought and hoped was going to win in the clash of the titans. The fact that the Baltics were already extreme-right wing and extermely anti-communist, probably influenced the decision a fair part as well. They then spun it all 'round as "fighting for independence", when there was no possibility for independence by that time.
Although, documents recently released by the SVR, show that Stalin decided to invade Estonia (and the other Baltic countries) because he had reason to believe (or at least thought so), that the Baltic States would invite German troops into them any day now. Britain and the US also supported Stalin on this decision.
However, these new documents still have to be analysed by historians etc... So there is no reason to put too much trust into them just yet.

As someone on this forum said, "Who cares, he wasn't a nationalist".
So yeah, you could say that Stalin is Russian, but Soviet would be more accurate. Because he made no distinctions between Russians and Georgians.

It's commonly known fact that during Warsaw Uprising Poles fought Germans... not true. There were many Russians, Ukrainians, Cossacs, Armenians and Azers in SS uniforms...
