Hi,
I one post here I read something about the third version of marpat woodland.
Other people told me the was,is and will be only one marpat wl version.
Who is right ? Are there different version (maybe updated one) of armpat woodland ?
If so maybe some of you could post some fotos of the different versions.

there are three different color schemes, woodland, desert, and urban. they only use woodland and desert though. but only one marpat woodland

But sure that there wasnīt a "version" change in between with the woodland version ?
Iīm thinking of different size of the spots or more brown or green, something like that ??
Because I can remember someone mentioned it here in this forum.
But maybe I misunderstood him or he just was wrong with that.

Could be confusion between Marpat and commercial knockoffs; or maybe between Cadpat and Marpat?

He's talking about the different stages that the MARPAT design went through before they finally settled on the color scheme that's in service now. For instance one version was discarded because the Marines testing it thought it needed more brown in the pattern. I personally don't have any photos of the early versions, but I'm sure someone on here does.

Well I think it was just a confusion betwen 3 version of marpat and 3 version of wl marpat.
But Iīm still sure he ment 3 version of woodland marpat.
Ok, I think I misunderstood it or he was just wrong.
Thanks, anyway to all posterīs and PNīs
