I recently bought a defective bowman headset that I want to repair and then use on a PMR radio.

Replacing the microphone should not be difficult, but I can't open the case of the speaker. Does anyone know if there is a trick to it or will brute force be the only way?
Also, does anyone what impedance of the speaker and microphone I need to make them work properly on a PMR radio?

Thanks in advance!

I got mine open with force, though I'm sure there must've been a better way.

Well, I guess I'm just going to have to try it out - what kind of tool did you use?

the mics are 99.9% likely to be condenser mics.

Speaker is somewhere from maybe 75ohm to 150ohm.

In regards to your PMR, there maybe a specific impedance, but thats not possible to say unless knowing what type of a PMR you have.
