Here's a cool AK abuse video that I've found a few days ago...

I'd like to see people do things like that to the AR-15/M16 series of rifles :D

P.S. the video is pretty big, around 78mb, but it worth it :D

No it can't . ;) Really , experience is talking here  .
Ak can take it all (and even it's knock offs , and based weapons) . As long as you can enter the magazine inside , it will fire woot

The coolest thing i did with Galil (Valmet based - Kalachnikov based) :
10 full 35 bullets magazines , in auto mode , without a stop , FIRE !!! Hot as hell , but not one single stopish .

Come on, come clean here. Youve never even held an M-16 have you? Not to mention an AK.

The inner workings of the AK are exceedingly simple and durable as opposed to the M-16 family. The M-16 is a good rifle, I give you that, but it will NEVER stand up to such abuse.

Since 'Nam the M-16 has had a ****load of makeovers and redevelopments but the inner mechanism is still basically the same.

the only thing that I thought might have stoped the gun from fireing was when he put the twigs in it. The rest was just childplay, soil and water in the mechansísm dont stop a good gun.

I have almost filled the mechanism of my ak4(g3) with dirt and it kept on fireing, the ak5(fn fal) I used as a conscript was even less sensitive to dirt except if the dirt found its way into the gasblock, but I think the barrel would have blown before that happened.

Gotta love those two. As a prank just before the end of our service we filled the AK5s of our platooncomms with "portionssnus" bascially ground up tobacco. And we filled them good i tell ya, but the damn AK5s kept firing...

Was interesting to see the comms cleaning their rifles afterwards tho... ;)

Nice video. But it´s best when combining the best of two worlds, the reliability
of the AKM and the user friendliness of western weapons:

True, true.. Ak is by far more reliable. I've talked to a Gulf War Veteran who has fired the Ak in desert heat until it lit on fire (yet still firing). That's just freaking nuts.

Could you tell me why US. soldiers in Vietnam took AK:s from vietnamese corpses ?
And this is heard from Vietnam veterans.

Actually they didn't. Go ahead and ask some vets and they will all tell you that in a firefight, they want to have their m-16's. The AK makes a very distinctive chatter when fired (see, if had shot one you would know) compared to the m-16 and the last thing they (or you) want is to be mistaken for the enemy in a jungle firefight (and keep in mind most contact was under 100M) Now some of the Special Forces soldiers would take them out on patrol, but the line grunts for the most part did not pickup the AK's and use them. I know a lot that took them back to base as souveniers, but that is about it.

AS for reliability, the AK beats the hell out of the M-16 and its varients. I have taken an AK, put 2000 rounds through it, dropped it in the snow to cool it off and then put it back in the safe took it out 3 weeks later (there was rust and all sorts of **** in the breech) racked the bolt and it started right up like a hooker that just got a $20. I like the M4, it is a nice gun and it never failed me (take care of your equipment and it will take care of you). As for the best assault rifle, it all depends on what you are doing, why and where you are doing it. They all have pro's and con's.

The AK abuse video has a title at the end saying "Safety First". Abusing a rifle like that is all well and good (I would'nt do it) for them but they should have worn safety glasses of some kind.

Also... did one of them put a .223 round in his AK?

The mind boggles.

You hookers have eaten up 50GB of bandwidth in one day :bash: LOL. I dont care, that's what it's there for.

Well, I own the Suppressivefire Website, "Which is currently down" and we were in the process of adding 1 or 2 more sweet AK videos this weekend. Unfortunately, that'll have to wait until next month unless I can find somewhere to dump these files.

I dont know if you guys noticed but my brother'n'law shot a .223 out of a AK!!! He later told us that some 223 ammo got mixed in with his 7.62 ammo and he was loading mags while watching TV.

RULE NUMBER ONE: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE LOADING :)

We're going filming this weekend or next to do 2 video or more.

1.) We're going to drag an Egyptian AK behind our truck thur water, mud, over rocks, etc.... then when we arrive at the range, load it up and FIRE AWAY!

2.) I'm wanting to take several 7.62 drums and see how quick we can level a pine tree.

Well, anyway, hope you guys who saw the video liked it... All I got to say is... SAFETY FIRST! cough...

LOL...

As you can see when FireFly was stuffing mud in his gun, I took about 10 steps back to avoid, uhh... possible injury :)

I love my AK's....

I had a few AR-15 ranging from COLT, Olympic Arms, and BushMaster... but nothing is as fun and reliable as my AK.

I've bought a VEPR K 5.45 about 8 months ago... it's a heavy mofo with a RPK reciever..

http://www.robarm.com/RA_veprK_545.htm

It's a hog just like it's russian name means... VEPR = BOAR

AK vs M16? Really depends on the situation.... Both guns have their strengths and weaknesses....

Anyway, nice to talk to you fellow gun lovers and remember.... "Safety First" :)

Hehe... maybe tie it to a tree first and put a real long piece of string on the trigger and get behind some cover for that one?

Good luck! :-)

Bloody if you want spare some of your badwith you can try using bittorrent p2p program as the Hood does at http://militaryvideos.net. I think you can also ask Hood for hosting that videos on his site with would give you wider audience and lesser your bandwith usage...

Ok.
Esier way:
Ask Hood if he wants add your videos to his site.

Harder way:
Seed by your own, before we start you must know what is bittorent

the ak can take a lot of crap but some of the timg spoeple do to their weapons is kind of pointless.

as for the hk m4 someone posted pictures of. there have been many piston m4s before but non have been significantly more reliable. and a normal m4 can do everything the hk was doing in those pictures. remember those are in a way hk propaganda for lack of a better word and the make the weapons look dirty on the out side by make sure its sparkling clean on the indside so they keep working.

You know, no matter how dirty a knife gets, it still works fine.

Some of you need to grow up with this goddamn AK vs. M16 issue. Two COMPLETELY different weapons systems, two completely different ways of training the shooters, two completely different worlds.

Don't compare a lowered Dodge Ram Hemi V8 with a Chevy 1500 with a 14in lift kit and 35's.

Damn kids.
