Have you tried each country's website. They usually post pics of their aircraft, both current and historical. Here's the response I got from google.

http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG%2CGGLG%3A2006-01%2CGGLG%3Aen&q=f-5+aircraft+

Hope this helps.

All above are the old ones, no BVR capacity and glass cockpit.

The new ones of BAF are the F-5EM. Kick ass in BVR combat with Derby Missiles at Operation Cruzex III. All the M2000 French had been shootdown, without detecting the airplanes of the BAF.

Precisely. Every South American Army does have an official website, with some very good photo coverage of their current inventory (sometimes "size does not matter" ;-) small countries like Guatemala do have excellent websites compared to larget nations). From your profile you speak Spanish, right? It is even easier!

If "a 5 months search" did not bring you some pictures, sorry but you better have to abandon the Internet as a source... Get some books instead, nothing is always free (and there are several on the subject).

Long live the F-5! When the Saudis dump their F-5's eventually, they should make their way to South America. I think Brazil got a few that way.

I like the F-5, but same the refited ones don´t have capacity to fight against Venezuela Su-30. Hugo Chavez is a very dangerous man, only brazilian president don´t saw this yet.

Valeu Rodrigo

Let's respect the Venezuelans politics and vote. Chavez is popular there.
We can make good business with Chavez and I hope they can mind their own business peacefully.

I hope they can read and learn about megalomaniac caudillo characters like Solano Lopez and what happens if they mess with Brazil.

I don't agree. Unless Brazil suddenly goes politically to the right, I don't see any confrontation. Also, I don't see Chavez as dangerous. I do think he understands history. The US has taken freely elected governments and made them into puppet regimes. His buying Sukhois and modernizing his army is a hedge against this. Also, he is thrusting his army into the present buy modernizing it. They had old FAL rifles, old equipment all around, and he is buying replacements. The equipment they have now is old and from varied sources. It is wise to consolidate with a few types then to have too many, if only to maintain them. Plus, the US puts too many restrictions on selling equipment and in technology transfers. I was surprised with the Chilean F16 buy, but I guess they got a good deal all around. Chavez's F16's can be and are effectively grounded because Chavez won't play nice with the USA. Doesn't sound like Venezuela can be a soveriegn nation with those conditions, does it?

Just a thought...Having F-5's in an air force fleet says something about the air force, and the nation, itself. For example, Venezuela is getting Sukhoi's. Seems to me to be alot of airplane to be used strictly for air defense and more like an airplane to threaten its neighbors. F-5's might tell you neighbors, "We can and will defend us if you attack, but we don't want to attack you at all." Kind of like a dog on a leash but the leash is never let go in the neighbors yard to take a piss.

Also respect the Venezuelan people, but Hugo Chavez intervenes
excessively with internal questions of other countries. Examples:

1. He directly finances presidential campaigns of other countries.

2. Of the shelter and money the FARC.

3. It gave support to the robbery of property of Brazil in the case of
the bolivian gas.

Bush really is a problem, but to consider an ally somebody because
it defies U.S.A. is only useless. Daqui little will go also to
support the Irã, Korea of the North and others.

But is totally of-topic.
