cool pic mate. Is the guy on the left wearing the "Delta" protec helmet or the "SEAL" protec helmet similar to that worn by the guy at the back?
Is it me or does the guy on the left wearing an elbow pad on his knee?

Ya this pic is fake cause its not really a seal team its actually delta! OMG this is sooooo wicked, check out their sunglasses.
Too bad with all the money these guys spent on gear they couldnt spend more on some oakleys, since the oakleys you can actually wear in public.

First off ive never seen any SEALs paint their protecs. And wtf is with the pirate patches on thier chests and shoulders. M4s looks good though, but wouldnt you want to use a 9mm on a ship so it would not ricochete?

9mm ricochets, in case you didn't know or have never had any sort of firearms experience whatsoever (that's a mouthful). Did you know that you can get frangible 5.56mm ammo that will not ricochet? Yes, you can.

Jokie? No CAR's in photo, CQB-R from the looks.
It is a interesting photo however. I was under the impression that Protecs were being phased out in most operations, in favor of the lighter MICH et al, helmets.
Btw, the patches are for their platoon I believe. There is a operator in the Enduring Freedom gallery under SEAL who has a team patch on as well.

Actually, they aren't. Far from it infact. There are about a bajillion different models of the short M16's series, but each has a miniscule difference from the other.

True, the car-15 was the original first produced in veitnam still they are basicly the same weapon

D55 is right, the CAR15 and the M4 are very different weapons.
And that little flap is called the Ejection Port Cover.
But...
D55, the smilies were funny, but now its just annoying.

Once again the wannabe's are wrong! give me a break kids, you say Seals don't paint thier gear, thier unit patches look fake, no offense, but some of you should think before you type. check above, this is from the Navy's official site. where is your logic. there are over 3,000 active duty seals, and a bunch more in the reserve seal units, you know what each one wears? you know thier gear painting habits?
