Old-school helmet, SSh-40/60 I guess (modified ww2 with
new liner, the shell might be post-war as well of course) But
since itīs worn without a liner = ww2

This one caught my eye. AGS-17, nice to have on your side i.e. when attacking, but I really pity the guys who have to carry that. (I had to, a couple of times)
More, please!

MVD are just the regular cops. VV (MVD), SN VV (MVD), ar the internal forces (SN are special purpose internal forces - Spetsnaz VV), anyway, they do everything from SWAT like missions (hostage rescue and alike) to cleanup and recon missions.

I KNEW it was you.
BTW, we have started Russian front battles and have been joining the 8 Guards Army in fighting the SS since we hate them as much as everyone else.
We have a Ukrainian guy join and is bringing more of his friends along to make an ost battalion (squad)
How things change.
Yes, this place is far better than ARFCOM.
Truce????

We just did a Romanian front 1944 battle. The Romanians (all two of them) changed sides in the middle of the battle! Trigger time is all that matters.
We will be filming a movie for the Sci-fi channel in a WWII setting next month. It sounds like a REALLY bad movie, but it should be fun. Something about some "un-dead" German soldiers. :cantbeli:

That is all I really know about it at this point. It sounds so bad I am afraid to ask.
I'll let you know when it comes out so you can laugh at me getting shot. I'll try to die well!

Is that a blade style bayonet (turned sideways) on the An-94 or is it a spike style?
Graceful looking aircraft.

That is correct. Bayonet attaches sideway on AN-94

OMON is Permi :P Can you tell me more about that, what does that flag represents and when, and where did that happen?
one thing I got form this is that, that is a spetsnaz from Internal forces woot

Actually it means the bayonet no longer blocks the underbarrel grenade launcher if the latter is fitted, so scope, bayonet, and under barrel grenade launcher can be fitted at once.
Regarding the Mi-35M I like the later model with the proper sensor ball.
On the original Hind there is an armoured magnified sight for launching ATGMs and a radar/radio communication pod next to it for controlling the Shturm and Ataka ATGMs. (if you look at the image above the large oval pod beneath and behind the round ball is the radar thing).
Here a ball has been added to one side and all the existing systems are the same.
On the new model the ball is mounted on the other side and it takes over the role of the magnified sight. It has a Thermal imaging position, laser rangefinder, daylight TV channel. This replaces the old sight and improves the Hinds capabilities many times.
It gives full all weather day night capability for guided and unguided weapons and the laser rangefinder and ballistic computer improves the capability of using unguided weapons.
The twin 23mm guns in the nose turret extend the effective gun range and help share the tasks more effectively between the crewmembers.
(ie with a fixed 30mm twin barrel gun the pilot aimed and fired the gun and the unguided rockets while the weapon officer guided the ATGMs and was navigator... the turret means the gun and missiles are now used by the second crew member.)
