With this G.R.A.D. $699 .22-caliber gun disguised as a knife, you can pull the trigger on the handle, filling someone with five holes and then cut them up into little pieces, or vice-versa. Check out the video of this lean, mean killing machine:

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen :p

So it's a five shot .22lr Derringer with a substandard blade and cumbersome operation... This is the first weapon I would rather rely on my bare hands instead of :D

Why? I don't want to get that close to someone.

Spetsnaz appear to have found some value in this design concept. I believe that they place a stronger emphasis on knife fighting skills than their western counterparts though.

The final picture in the thread above is of a spring loaded knife, produced in florida, basicily it's cheap dangerous crap. The lowest cylinderical object is the sheath, not a suppressor.

Note to mods:
The reason I hot linked to the knife picture, I cant find it on the Russian arms website, but it is on another VG website.

Hopefully there's no recoil, or else you'll end up with a knife in the face and then EVERYBODY's day will be ruined

Very doubtful you will get any kind of recoil from a .22LR.

excellent
the knife gun is stoli's favorite weapon. He's an expert with it. He has even gone on missions with only the knife gun.
He is also skilled at axe throwing, and firing an ak on full auto while doing a backflip.

also more emphazis on jumping thru rings of fire. No offence to spetznaz but that knife is ridicilous. Instead of putting heavy weight on a knife to be able to fire bullets I rather distribute that weight on a proper gun,

By request, here are some photos of the NRS-3 shooting knife:

It fires special silenced rounds with a gas-trapping piston inside.
In case these go away again, I got them from Igor's Chechnya gallery:
