Jasenovac was the most horrific lager in WWII, not by the number of the victims, but by the ways of killing victims. In this complex was murcered about 600000 Serbs and about 100000 Jews and Gyspies. In whole Independent state of Croatia during WWII Ustashas killed 800000-900000 Serbs!

And yet, the bosnian muslims and albanians are hated even more than the croats.

I'am ashamed of my ignorance about this camp. I had no idea the Serbs had it so bad during Croatian rule. Here in England the view is that Milosevic exploited Croatian Serbs for his own gains in but the history from this video and other sources it seems that Serbian fears were real enough to live in an independent Croatia without fear of reprisals and discrmination.

Many Ustashas were Bosnian muselims, too, especialy in eastern Herzegovina.
@Cp6uH
You're right, but I couldn't remember any other word on that moment.
Now, just one of many hoorible stories from this concetration camp:
Holy myrtyr old man Vukasin from Klepci (Jasenovac 1943)
Vukasin was an Orthodox Serbian from the Hercegovinan village of Klepci that lies on the Eastern shore of the Neretva river. Earlier in Klepci stood the old church of Sv. Apostola Luke that existed since the begining of the sixteenth century. This church was built by the respected church builders Hrabrena-Miloradovic. In Klepaca from 1857 the church Preobrazenja Hristovog (which Croats destroyed to the foundations in 1991 along with the village) stood. The old man was from the Mandarapa familily and was called Vukasin.
Old man Vukasin was born around the end of the nineteenth century. He was raised in his own village and later left to work in Sarajevo. When the ustasa NDH (Independent State of Croatia) came in existance, Vukasin returned to his village but the Croatian ustasa Roman Catholics also arrived killing Vukasins household and many other Serbs in the village and in the surrounding areas. Vukasin was taken to Jasenovac by the ustasa along with many other Orthodox Serbs.
In Jasenovac in January of 1943, Vukasin was killed by the usatasa butcher Zila Fraganovic. Zila saw Vukasin the older peasant, with a tranquil facial expression who peacefully watched the dreadful butchery of his Orthodoxbrethren. Fraganovic brought Vukasin to the front of the line infront of a pit where the ustasa butchered and threw innocent victims. The ustasa decided to end Vukasins peace and serenity. He ordered Vukasin to yell "Long Live Pavelic!", but Vukasin did not respond but instead peacefully stayed quiet, the ustasa proceded to cut off Vukasins ears and nose. Then the ustasa told Vukasin that he would rip his heart out of his chest if he did not yell "Long Live Pavelic!", Vukasin peacefully looked at his torturer and slowly responded: "Child, you do your job!" This reply and heavenly peace on the face of Vukasin sent his killer into rage, who then dug out Vukasins eyes, cut out his heart, cut his throat ear to ear and then pushed Vukasin into the pit with his foot. After this the killer went mad and later told Dr. Neda Zec in hospital about this accout, who later wrote about this occurance with old man Vukasin.
Vukasins fresco's exist today in Sv. Arhandjela Gavrila monastary in Zemun, Jovan-do, Ostrog monastary by Niksic, and a picture of him is painted among saints of Zahumsko-hercegovacke parish (which was made to honor the parish 780-anniversary).
Testification of the crime...
(From the book: "Novo svestenomucenici i mucitelji Pravoslavne crkve u pravoslavnom srpskom narodu". Published by: "Svetigora", Cetinje, 2000, Pages: 59-63.).
The ustasa that told me, stopped again, drank a shot of brandy, and continued:
"You remember during the carriage-drive (August) the big arrival at the camp when Jere Maricic sent about 3000 persons to be butchered. At that time Pero Brzica, Zrinusic, Sipka and I bet amogst each other who would kill the most persons that night. When the butchering started after one hour I was far ahead of anyone in the number of persons killed. That night I was in a trance, I felt like I was on cloud nine, never in my life did i feel such bliss, and after a few hours I killed 1,100 persons, while the others barely killed 300 to 400 persons".
"Then while in a trance, I accidentally looked to the side and saw an old peasant who with some unexplainable peacefullness stood and watched as I killed. His look cut into me, I froze".
"After that i went towards the peasant and found out that he was some Vukasin from the village of Klepci by Capline, whose household was all dead and who himself was sent to labour in Jasenovac. He said all that with some peacefullness which bothered me more than all the cries around me. Watching and listening to this old man at once let loose this wanting to crush his tranquillity with torture and through his pain bring back my ecstasy".
"I took him out of line and sat him on a tree stump and ordered him to yell: "Long Live Pavelic!", or I would cut off his ear, Vukasin stayed quiet".
"I cut one ear. He didn't say one word. Again I told him to yell out "Long Live Pavelic", or I would cut off his other ear. He stayed quiet. I cut his other ear off. "Yell: Long Live Pavelic!, or I will cut off your nose!" He did not respond. I then proceded to cut his nose off. When for the fourth time I told him to yell "Long Live Pavelic!" or I would rip his heart out of his chest he looked through me and slowly said: "Child, you do your job!....".
"After everything his last words made me go crazy. I jumped on him, I cut out his eyes, his heart, his throat ear to ear and then kicked him into the pit. Then inside me something broke, and after that night I could not kill anymore. Pero Brzica won the bet for he killed 1350 persons and I quietly paid my loss to him".
"Since that night I have no peace. When I try to torture and kill again to achieve that bliss and trance, I see Vukasins stare, and throw my knife and cannot proceed to kill. I drink more and more, but that only helps for a while. While drinking, usually before night, I hear the voice saying "Child, you do your job!......" Then I have to walk it off covering my ears, hitting my head, yelling, breaking everything in sight and attacking everyone who is near. At night I have no peace, every while I twitch from sleep and throught the night I see Vukasins stare and hear "Child, just do your job"!
"There, now I cannot help myself anymore. When I came outside I felt as if I was awaking from a bad dream. I tryed to refresh myself taking a deep breathof the cold night air. That night I could not sleep for before my eyes was Vukasin from Klepci"
