Hi
I got a problem with my brand new CA M15A4 R.I.S.:
The R.I.S. handguard is a little loose, meaning you can turn it left and right a little. Not a huge isue but I'd appreciate your help.
Another question I have is if anybody has a guide how to take down the gun, if possible with images.
Hope to hear from you.

There should be a screw and a "v" shaped latch that prevents any movement at the rear top of the rail system. Make sure its not missing! If it is. you can get a new one easily. If it isn't make sure the screw is secure.

The_Dude: Where do you live?
If not, then look up the Knights Armament Corp. RIS system.. takedown is nearly identical, if not identical.

^ The online manual for the m15
instructions on breakdown are on page 5, with an in-depth look at the internals on page 7.

After removing the Handguard I saw that the latch that secures the RIS on the Delta ring is broken.Any ideas how I can fix that?
I live in Germany.

eh?
Delta ring broken, or the RIS broken? Delta rings are cheap....RIS' aren't....i've used industrial cement adhesive on metal and it works....
Maybe a picture?

The Delta ring's just fine.Thats what broke the ****ing latch in the first place.
I'll upload a pic tomorrow, but what I've heard and read so far is that piece breaks sooner or later anyway. So I guess I'll have to find another way to secure the RIS.

Its been years since I've touched airsoft, but when I needed to permenently fix something, I used JB Weld. Its the strongest glue on the planet. If its fixable JB weld can do it.

I might have an extra one around. Let me go look for it and I'll let you know.

If I got it right, the broken part was supposed to be where the red marks are, right?

I guess I'll call the shop tomorrow and ask them for advice or maybe an exchange part, since it's only two days old.
