Does anybody have any new photos?. As both albums have not been updated for a few months, is it just my computer or does anybody else have trouble downloading some images in the photo albums, for example the last pic in the Devgru section.

Diolch yn fawr.

(That means thank you very much in Welsh).

Well, one thing I must stress is that non of the photos in the Devgru/Delta section can't really be ID'ed one hundred percent as such units. To do so would compromise OPSEC/PERSEC. Not to mention, there are a plentifull of other workers who handle VIP/CPP stuff.

BTW, to get the newer photos to work correctly, after saving, simply use the rename option and type '.jpg' at the end of their name. This will give the correct format so you can view them.

The amount of images coming out of Afghanistan concerning special operations forces is almost nothing nowadays. It's mostly about ISAF forces who are policing. SEALs are seemingly more specific special action forces that probably aren't around nearly as much because their primary mission down there is over. As for Iraq, there were some photos put out of what they seized at various ports, but almost no pictures at all of the members themselves. Obviously they decided to not allow any picture taking from the embedded reporters. Here's a bunch from one port seizure operation, where they found lots of arms and explosives.

Explosives and detonating devices were found behind this door on the MABOT (Mina al-Bakr Oil Terminal) oil pumping platform in the Persian Gulf. U.S. Forces who took over the platform found, marked, and disposed of all explosives and traps on the platform. This is Iraq's southern terminal and only terminal that works which pumps oil from Iraq's southern oil fields into tanker ship for export. The MABOT was taken over by Navy Seals on March 19th followed by the Marines and now the Coast Guard.
