Does anyone here have experience with the VEPR II? I've heard it's better than the AK-47, but I was wondering if any of you had firsthand experience.

Isn't just an Ak but better quality? For that price I'll buy two Romaks

I haven't fired one, but I've read on many forums that they are of the highest quality. Very accurate because of the RPK type receiver. The best thing is they're made in Russia. I would like to have a Vepr K in 7.62x39 myself.

The Romanian recievers are loose like an old French whore. Go with the Izmash/Izhevsk.

In the future I will but both of my AKs are Romak. Never had a problem. Quality could be better but it hasn't crapped on me.

Oh yeah they still work, but if you've already got a Romanian, might as well buy a Ruskie and feel all high-speed inside.

Definitely but I got to remember to have my rounds down in my chest rig to be more high speed.

They are great gun. But dont go to Impact for them. They dont have any, dont know when they will be getting any, and Robinson is no longer the importer.

Top of the line, highest quality on all parts. If you want the best and have the $ go for it. I'd recomend the carbine with muzzle brake and folding stock.

ANd remember not to swap the American parts then the gun is illegal.

Crazy laws...but that's what you get by getting a foreign receiver.
