Do you guys even read the captions? These photos are from the weapons handover at Port au Prince on 17th March, and those soldiers are French troops from COS (Commandement des Operations Speciales), very badly translated in the caption as "Special Commando Operations". Besides the obvious fact that they are wearing French uniforms, with French flags, are carrying weapons used by french troops, are wearing French webbing and are shown on the French Defence Ministry Website. And it's not just US troops who wear sunglasses. And if you can't tell US woodland from French Central European, then you shouldn't be on this forum.

Bollé goggles are currently in use by U.S. Special Forces, Navy Seals, Army Rangers and many SWAT Teams

They are french because they are wearing french uniforms with snaps used to close the pockets so even if the camo is still close from the US woodland the BDU's or DCU's don t use snaps.
