Saw this pic on Crossfit.com

Sand where in places there should never be sand.... Inside your toothpaste tube, for example. Or, dust inside of airtight, waterproof cases. The dust is just like dirty powdered sugar, and even when there isn't a sand storm, there is always a thin layer accumulating no matter what you do to try to combat it.

yeah i've heard alot about this annoying sand.

I aslo heard the sands chemical make-up meant that it could not be used to make concrete, something about how it would not bond with the water and cement.

it must be hell, day to day cleaning there.

Holy crap does it get dark.
The sandstorm really isn't moving as fast as I originally thought it would be though. Kinda surprising.

I remember we tried to duct-tape every opening in our pre-fab shelter... That sh*t still came in by the truckload..

The storm is quite big, but nothing to compared to the HUGE ass on that bird in the green blouse about 1:40 in the vid :)
