Same here. I grew up around Military and hippies in the Bay Area next to San Franpinko. I watched a lot of hippies become Meth and Heroine addicts. I saw a lot of High School friends do the same. I join the Military and hauled ass out of there at the age of 20. You learn fast that you can only help family and friends. The world can save it's self.
