Thanks man. I never really worried about it. With some paints, the barrel can turn slightly pink with heavy amount of shooting in a short period of time....but most people never get to that point. You'd be surprised how well paint holds up against heat.
I was looking at the photos of your paintjobs......WOW..very nice work. How do you keep the barrels from burning up the paint?
